Founded in 2017. Built on a different approach.
After studying interior design, Blaq Staging founder Heather O'Donohoe took an honest look at the property staging available across Perth. She saw a gap for something more refined: modern, minimalist and elegant styling that enhanced a home without overwhelming it.
At the time, many properties were being presented with tired furniture, crowded rooms and every surface filled with décor. Heather believed staging didn't need a hundred objects on the dining table to make an impression. The right furniture, thoughtful details and a sense of restraint could allow the property itself to shine.
That belief became Blaq Staging.
What began as a passion for creating beautifully considered spaces quickly grew through word of mouth and trusted referrals. Today, Blaq Staging is behind some of Perth's most memorable property presentations, known for styling that feels elevated, intentional and effortlessly inviting.
Nearly a decade later, our approach remains the same: complement the architecture, create an emotional connection and give every home the space to tell its own story.
I started Blaq Staging because I believed Perth homes deserved a more considered approach to styling. Nearly a decade later, that belief hasn't changed. It's only grown.
