What makes Blaq Staging different to other companies?

We're a boutique studio, and that's intentional. Rather than styling a high volume of properties each week, we deliberately keep our numbers to a minimum so every project receives the highest level of care and a seamless experience from start to finish. Our approach is less-is-more: we style with restraint, letting the architecture and the property itself take centre stage, and finish every install with fresh flowers. You'll also deal directly with Heather and our senior stylists, Gem and Maddy, throughout your campaign. Behind the scenes, our trusted partnership with removalist Fox Removals, along with a team of over 30 staff and 20 trucks, means we can guarantee your install won't be delayed.

Do you style occupied or lived-in properties?

We specialise exclusively in vacant properties. This gives us full creative control to present every room at its very best.

What are the payment terms?

A 50% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due three working days prior to installation.

Can I keep some of my own furniture in the styled space?

We're happy to incorporate a piece if it truly complements the design. For the strongest result, though, we recommend styling with our own collection throughout.

How long is an average styling campaign?

Our lease is for four weeks, allowing time for photography and the campaign launch. Weekly extensions are available if required after the initial four-week period. Long-term hire periods are available on request.

Are you insured?

Yes, all of our furniture is fully insured for the entire length of your styling campaign, including liability insurance.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, ideally two to three weeks before your intended install date, to secure your spot and give us time to plan the styling around your campaign.

Do I need to be there for the install or destyle?

Not at all. We coordinate access with you, your agent or property manager, so you don't need to be on-site for either the install or destyle.

Where is your furniture from, and do you own your own furniture?

Yes, all of our furniture is owned by Blaq Staging, sourced from a mix of Australian and international suppliers. Owning our full collection gives us complete control over quality and style, and lets us keep it fresh and on-trend for every campaign. Our office and warehouse is located in Bayswater.
